The Puerto Rico Department of State - Registry of Corporations and Entities website offers a Corporations and Entities Search feature where one can find company information for free by entering an entity's name or register number. Results include Registry number, Corporation Name, Class, Profit, Status, and once an entity's name is selected, Street and Mailing Address are also given. However, update frequency is not known and there is an announcement that the "Puerto Rico Department of State" does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of information presented by this service. More specifically, "The content presented through this Portal is supplied by agencies and public corporations of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Each of these agencies and corporations is solely responsible to ensure the currency, reliability, accuracy and veracity of the information they provide. The administrator of this Portal is not responsible for, and does not guarantee, updating, reliability, accuracy and veracity of the information contained herein." Data cannot be downloaded in bulk and another announcement informs that "the content presented by this Registry is ‘Public Information’ and the online services are intended for interactive participation. We reserve the right to block access to the site if we detect automated bulk data gathering tools. For business need of structured data feeds, please contact support@estado.pr.gov."
