The submissions in this data category do not need to include detailed financial data such as balance sheet, etc. Open data from company registers may be used for many ends: e.g. enabling customers and businesses to see with whom they deal, or to see where a company has registered offices. I have included a link to the Austrian Business Register where the data are available through a search mask so it is necessary to know the name or register number of an entity in order to find it. One can search the Austrian Business Register by company name or number and can then choose to get an official company register for a fee. The data requested are always up-to-date and valid. They contain the business name and register number, as well as the registered office. However they cannot be downloaded at once and are sent via e-mail in .PDF format.
