What data is expected?

Data about the daily mean concentration of air pollutants, especially those potentially harmful to human health. Data should be available for all air monitoring stations or air monitoring zones in a country. The Index focusses on key pollutants as defined by the World Health Organisation. See our methodology section for more information.

Details

El Ministerio de Medio Ambiente, como parte del segundo plan de acción de la República Dominicana ante la Alianza para el Gobierno Abierto, se comprometió a instalar varios monitores de contaminación del aire en cinco ciudades del país. Sin embargo, a la fecha no ha cumplido con esta promesa. En la RD no existen datos públicos sobre este tema.
