This data category requires results by constituency / district for all major national electoral contests. Election data informs about voting outcomes and voting process. What are electoral majorities and minorities? How many votes are registered, invalid, or spoilt? To enable highest transparency, the Index assesses polling station data. Data for electoral zones does not suffice. The Index consulted the National Democratic Institute (NDI) to develop this data category. Machine readable results are not consistently available for download at once. Presidential election results can be downloaded as one xls file. As for parliamentary elections, even though it is possible to download as XLSX files, it is divided by electoral zone (https://www.izbori.hr/izbori/ws.nsf/site.xsp?documentId=6C89525B48252E02C125802E0034FB57). HTML format is consistent but it contains only general results, not all data characteristics. As for Municipal data, it is available only in PDF. EU Parliament data available in PDF and general results in HTML. Reuse for purposes other than what the information is provided for is regulated through the Law on Reuse of information and decided on a case by case basis (https://www.izbori.hr/ws/index.html?documentId=C3762C98F0CBCF7BC1257FCA0042A608).
