Key national statistics on demographic and economic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), or unemployment and population statistics. See our methodology section for more information.

How open is the data?

"e-stat" is the one-stop government statistics data site of Japan. Most of data are available in Excel, some are CSV (unfortunately PDF remains). You may use them free of charge. This year, SPARQL endpoint and LOD data website are opened. URL: https://data.e-stat.go.jp/lodw/

This submission is valid, thank you for contributing to the Global Open Data Index. Updated name of government agency to 'Statistics Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications'. Amend B5 to no as data split into multiple files e.g. years/quarters.
