Government Budget 60% open

Cambodia

What data is expected?

National government budget at a high level, that is the planned government expenditure for the upcoming year, and not the actual expenditure. Open budget data allows for well-informed publics: showing where money is spent on, how public funds develop over time, and why certain activities are funded. We recommend that you consult our methodology section for more information.

  • Budget per government department
  • Budget per sub-department
  • Descriptions for budget sections

How open is the data?

The 2015 result from the Open Budget Index shown that the data is exist https://survey.internationalbudget.org/#rankings There are no evidence found from the Ministry of Economy and Finance official website to confirm that the data exist.

Comment Reviewer: this should be checked again by somebody speaking the language. But with my limited understanding, I think the ZIP file contains at least one table with the estimates for 2017 on an overview level.
