The submissions in this data category do not need to include detailed financial data such as balance sheet, etc. Open data from company registers may be used for many ends: e.g. enabling customers and businesses to see with whom they deal, or to see where a company has registered offices. The data are available through a search mask on the Ministry of Commerce website, and it is necessary to know the name or identifier of an entity in order to find it. Company name and identifier, status, entity type and registration date are given in .HTML format, and once selected more information such as physical and postal registered addresses, directors, and business activities are also provided for free. The dataset cannot be downloaded at once as details for each entity are viewed separately. How often or when the data were last updated is unknown as is the type of license. I have updated all these categories accordingly since the original submitter described the data as available online without the need request access to them, not available for free, updated regularly, and with the unique identifier missing.
