National Laws 45% open

Panama

What data is expected?

This data category requires all national laws and statutes to be available online, although it is not a requirement that information on legislative behaviour e.g. voting records is available.

  • Content of the law / status
  • Date of last amendment
  • Amendments to the law (if applicable)

How open is the data?

Both websites listed in B2 lead to very similar data. All questions can be answered the same when considering both websites (although my review was based on the Info Juridicia website). I changed B5 to a NO because I could not see any possibility of downloading data in bulk. The website provides only the full text of the original version of a law. If one wants to download updates, one must download each amendment separately.

This submission is accepted because I was able to verify that the data contained all required characteristics.
