The submissions in this data category do not need to include detailed financial data such as balance sheet, etc. Open data from company registers may be used for many ends: e.g. enabling customers and businesses to see with whom they deal, or to see where a company has registered offices. The original submission was rejected as company addresses were not available online. The Portal da Justiça website offers a Publication Search feature where one can search entities for free by entering their name or registration identification number and a captcha code. Results provide Date, NIF/NIPC number, Entity name, Municipality, and Activity in .HTML format, but not full company address. Selecting the "Content" option provides no results. Data cannot be downloaded at once, and as the original submitter, Tiago Vieira, pointed out, since you can only search one company at the time, there is no evidence that the data is being updated.
