A database of postcodes/zipcodes and the corresponding spatial locations in terms of a latitude and a longitude (or similar coordinates in an openly published coordinate system). The data has to be available for the entire country. See our methodology section for more information.

Details

The postcodes are available, without georeference under the Romanian Government open license. There are extensive efforts to geocode all postcodes and to add street and number references, but the process is not trivial at all. Additionally, the Romanian Post is also involved, as the official party.
