What data is expected?

Key national statistics on demographic and economic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), or unemployment and population statistics. See our methodology section for more information.

How open is the data?

The original submission referred to birth rates. However, a census of the entire national population is required to be available. Census data is not provided in machine-readable formats. Since not all characteristics are in the required file formats (some are provided in XLS), this category does not count as machine-readable.
