3-day forecasts of temperature, precipitation and wind. Forecasts have to be provided for several regions in the country. Short-term weather forecasts are relevant for the general public to plan activities, while also being reliable. See our methodology section for more information.

The submission was altered as follows: More links to the data were added. There are two websites presenting forecast data. Data is considered to be downloadable at once, since forecasts for all reuqired information can be downloaded as PDF. However, the forecasts are fairly unprecise, meaning that the PDF file only contains verbal descriptions of wind direction and strength ("strong wind from southwest)" as well as precipitation amount (strong precipitation). Data usability: Temperature data is published in HTML. PDF contains all required data. It is not obvious whether the PDF follows a consistent structure. Therefore I agree with the initial submission that extensive effort would be required to parse information. Data cannot only be used for informational or private purposes, after the right to reuse the data has been granted by the agency. The data is therefore not compliant with the Open Definition's claim for unrestricted reusability. Thank you, Aleksandar Ivić, for contributing to the Global Open Data Index.
