This data category requires results by constituency / district for all major national electoral contests. Election data informs about voting outcomes and voting process. What are electoral majorities and minorities? How many votes are registered, invalid, or spoilt? To enable highest transparency, the Index assesses polling station data. Data for electoral zones does not suffice. The Index consulted the National Democratic Institute (NDI) to develop this data category. Elections and Referendum results are all available through the website, but not all data is available. Presidential elections do not show invalid or spoiled ballots results, although it is possible to calculate invalid votes. Latest Parliamentary elections (2016) also available and dowloadable in XLXS & ODS format. Results are available for electoral and territorial districts and municipalities. While licensing is not stated on the official portal, all datasets are registered on National Data portal (data.gov.sk) where license (CC-BA-SA) is stated.
