Weather Forecast 45% open

Slovakia

What data is expected?

3-day forecasts of temperature, precipitation and wind. Forecasts have to be provided for several regions in the country. Short-term weather forecasts are relevant for the general public to plan activities, while also being reliable. See our methodology section for more information.

  • Temperature extremes
  • Temperature average
  • Wind speed
  • Wind direction
  • Precipitation Amount
  • Precipitation Probability
  • Forecast for current day and four following days

How open is the data?

Basic forecasts for Slovak regions is available in textual form for next two days. More detailed forecasts are available through so-called ALADIN model for many Slovak cities either for next 3 or next 10 days with data required by Census available (except average temperature) in the form of an image with several graphs. Note: 3-day forecast provides temperature extremes, 10-day forecast does not.
