What data is expected?

3-day forecasts of temperature, precipitation and wind. Forecasts have to be provided for several regions in the country. Short-term weather forecasts are relevant for the general public to plan activities, while also being reliable. See our methodology section for more information.

  • Wind direction
  • Precipitation Amount
  • Precipitation Probability
  • Forecast for current day and four following days

How open is the data?

The submission is valid, but was slightly modified. The data is not considered to be openly licensed based on a copyright note on the website (see here: https://www.meteorologia.com.uy/modelos/prediccionNumerica/gramet). The original submission referred to following website (https://www.agesic.gub.uy/innovaportal/v/161/1/agesic/ley_nº_18381.html). But it is not clear whether this website is referring to weather data.
