What data is expected?

3-day forecasts of temperature, precipitation and wind. Forecasts have to be provided for several regions in the country. Short-term weather forecasts are relevant for the general public to plan activities, while also being reliable. See our methodology section for more information.

  • Precipitation Amount
  • Precipitation Probability
  • Forecast for current day and four following days

How open is the data?

The responsible organisations appear to be the Meteorological Office or National Emergency Management Office (NEMO) however I was unable to identify a government portal for the given datasets.

A database of the World Meteorological Organisation states that the Caribbean Meteorological Organisation (CMO) is responsible for monitoring weather. An official statement can also be found at: https://www.cmo.org.tt/members.html. However, no forecast data could be found online that are provided by the CMO.
